Helvetic Summit Advising was founded from lived experience inside the game of hockey. Not theory, not promises, and not shortcuts.

I spent seven years playing professional hockey in Switzerland, was drafted into the USHL, and experienced the North American pathway firsthand through collegiate recruitment and campus visits. Following my playing career, I transitioned into coaching and player development roles in Switzerland and Sweden, working closely with National League clubs and elite development environments.

Hockey has always been part of my family. I come from a background where the game was lived at the highest levels. Family members played professionally, represented Team USA, and competed in the NHL, including cousins who reached the league, a brother who played professionally, and a father who played pro and represented Team USA as well. From the outside, this kind of background is often assumed to make the journey easier.

The reality is more complex.

Throughout my career, I lived the same pressures many young players face today. There was constant attention from agents, coaches, advisors, and competing interests, often long before representation was necessary. Balancing performance expectations with personal life, relationships, and long-term development was a challenge, even with access, experience, and a strong support system.

Despite that support, there were moments where guidance was missing. Moments where clarity, perspective, and honest mentorship would have made a difference. Those experiences stayed with me.

Today, I see a youth hockey landscape where young players are increasingly pushed toward professional decisions too early. Decisions driven by noise, urgency, and promises rather than readiness, development, and enjoyment of the game. This is something I take personally because when focus shifts too soon, players lose sight of what truly matters. Becoming better humans, better athletes, building meaningful relationships, and enjoying the process in the best sport in the world.

Helvetic Summit Advising exists to remove that noise. I am not here to educate from a distance. I am here to walk alongside players and families. To help players find their own path at their own pace. To help families understand the politics of the game so they can focus on what is truly important.

We do not operate on hope or external promises. We focus on growth, preparation, and the real potential each player can achieve when the process is respected.
